Pehchan Mall – PWD, Rawalpindi
Project Overview
Located in the bustling PWD area of Rawalpindi, Pehchan Mall is a sprawling 8,000 sq. ft. clothing outlet. The design concept centers on “Industrial Minimalism,” using raw concrete textures and warm oak wood to create a high-end shopping experience that elevates the brand’s presence in the local market.
Project Brief
Pehchan Mall represents a shift toward sophisticated retail store interior design Rawalpindi consumers are now gravitating toward. Spanning two floors and 8,000 square feet, the interior utilizes an open-plan layout to ensure maximum visibility and fluid customer movement.
The design features a dramatic central staircase with floating wooden treads, which acts as a sculptural focal point. By combining exposed ceiling baffles with strategic track lighting, the team at Babar Malik Architects created a space that highlights the merchandise without overwhelming the shopper. Our approach to retail store interior design Rawalpindi for this project focused on a neutral, earthy palette—utilizing grey micro-cement walls and custom oak display units. This aesthetic not only provides a timeless backdrop for seasonal collections but also establishes Pehchan Mall as a premier fashion destination in PWD.
