Hina Amjad House – Bahria Enclave, Islamabad
Project Overview
A contemporary residence defined by its bold use of natural stone and cantilevered volumes that create a rhythmic play of light and shadow. The design prioritizes a seamless flow between refined interior spaces and private landscaped courtyards.
Project Brief
The Hina Amjad residence is an exploration of contemporary architectural layers, where modern geometric forms meet the raw, organic texture of natural stone. Located in Islamabad, the house stands out through its volumetric design—featuring deep cantilevered terraces with dark-finished ceilings that provide both solar shading and a distinct visual identity.
At the heart of the home is a double-height internal courtyard, which serves as a light well and a focal point for the primary living areas. This space is anchored by a massive feature wall clad in multi-toned natural stone, bridging the gap between the landscaping and the minimalist interior finishes.
The interior program is designed for a sophisticated yet functional lifestyle, managed by our professional team at Primarc Studio. A marble staircase with glass balustrades acts as a central sculptural element, leading to private quarters that overlook the lawn through large-format glazing. From the contemporary kitchen to the formal drawing room, every space is detailed with a focus on material honesty and spatial clarity.
