HG House – Sangota, Sawat
Project Overview
A 12-Kanal retreat featuring 26,000 sq. ft. of modern architectural design. The residence balances large-scale cubic volumes with expansive glass facades to integrate the interior with the surrounding landscape.
Project Brief
Located in the scenic landscape of Sangota, Swat, HG House is a sprawling residential project spanning a 12-kanal plot with a total covered area of 26,000 sq. ft.. The architectural narrative is defined by a bold interplay of cubic volumes and a sophisticated material palette that includes light-textured stone cladding contrasted with dark, earthy accents.
The design prioritizes transparency and a connection to the outdoors, utilizing double-height glass facades that allow natural light to permeate the deep floor plates. The exterior features multiple cantilevered terraces and glass-railed balconies that offer unobstructed views of the valley.
A significant emphasis was placed on the transition between the built environment and the natural site. This is achieved through structured landscaping, featuring a paved walkway with integrated bollard lighting and dedicated outdoor lounge areas. The main entrance is anchored by a tall, minimalist wooden door and flanked by architectural planters, maintaining a clean and professional aesthetic throughout the facade.
